How to Get Involved During Acquaint Week 2025
Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, there’s a way for everyone to participate and make an impact:
- Do Sessions: Add extra availability and help set a new record for meaningful conversations completed during Acquaint Week.
- Complete Acquaint Missions: Choose a short, real-world mission to practice connection beyond the screen and share your reflection afterward.
- Take Communication Training Courses: Earn badges while strengthening skills that make every conversation more authentic and rewarding.
- Refer a Friend: Invite others to join the movement to practice and promote human connection through your referral link.
- Join Get-Togethers: Celebrate with fellow volunteers in global online meetups and community gatherings.

Take your impact beyond the screen by completing an Acquaint Mission during Acquaint Week 2025! Missions are short, real-world actions that help you practice human connection with purpose—whether sparking a meaningful conversation, reaching out to someone, or reflecting on your communication habits.
Complete any mission this week and earn the exclusive “Acquaint Week 2025 Mission Badge.” It’s our way of celebrating your growth and contribution to the movement to practice and promote human connection.

Badge Rules
To unlock your 2025 badges, make sure you follow these simple rules:
General Rules:
- All sessions, referrals, and courses must be completed between October 25th – November 1st, 2025.
- Referral badges are awarded once your referral completes their mentoring sessions (which may take a few weeks).
- Badges appear automatically on your Impact Page.
How to Earn the Referral Badge:
- Copy your referral link from your Impact Page.
- Share it widely with friends, classmates, colleagues—or even friendly rivals!
- Encourage them to complete mentoring and start sessions.
- Once they do, your “Volunteer Referrer” badge will appear automatically.
